MM6 Maison Margiela and Salomon evolve their collaboration for Autumn/Winter 2026
Two new drops reinterpret iconic models and experiment with new silhouettes, blending outdoor technologies, contemporary design, and urban influences.
The fusion of urban aesthetics and outdoor innovation continues to redefine the boundaries of contemporary sportswear. For the Fall/Winter 2026 season, MM6 Maison Margiela and Salomon carry forward their shared creative journey, unveiling two new drops that further evolve the aesthetic language of their collaboration.
Since 2022, the two brands have helped reinterpret the world of outdoor footwear through a sophisticated and unconventional approach. Following four years of experimentation, their creative dialogue continues—reviving prototypes from the past, introducing fresh insights, and shaping a collection of designs that blend technical heritage with stylistic research.
DROP 1
The XT-MM6 arrives in three new colourways, including a brand-new multicolored version and a variant defined by an intense, urban-inspired green. The silhouette reaffirms its place within the contemporary trailwear landscape, born from the fusion of Salomon’s technical heritage and the creative vision of MM6.
The most compelling new addition, however, is the MM6 CROSSDERBY—a model that fuses the classic silhouette of an urban derby shoe with an outdoor-inspired sole, finished with Salomon’s iconic Quicklace™ lacing system. The upper, crafted from polished black leather, offers a clean, versatile aesthetic well-suited for everyday wear. By incorporating outdoor-ready technology into the sole, the design expands the shoe’s range of use, resulting in one of the most adaptable pieces to emerge from this collaboration to date.
The first drop includes the return of the XT-15 backpack, accompanied by a white rain cover featuring a black logo.
DROP 2
The second drop introduces the MM6 XT-BOOT, an evolution of a previous take on the model. Easy to wear, comfortable, and functional, it features a soft inner structure that cradles the foot, with an upper design inspired by the hood of a down jacket. Its unique configuration allows it to be worn open at the calf—like a classic boot—or fitted more closely along the leg, taking on the appearance of an outer sock. It will be available in Vanilla Ice, Black, and Dusty Yellow colorways.
The ACS PRO 3 also gets an update with two new colorways: an urban-inspired version in darker tones—Black and Green Gables—and a second variant that combines Cosmic Sky, Heron, and Violet Tulip.
Taken together, the new offerings for the Autumn/Winter 2026 season underscore the collaborative exploration between MM6 Maison Margiela and Salomon—a partnership where technical expertise and distinctive design converge to push beyond the traditional boundaries of outdoor apparel and footwear. The first drop from the new MM6 Maison Margiela x Salomon collection is now available through both brands’ official e-commerce sites, in their respective retail stores, and at select retailers.
The second drop will arrive on November 17, 2026.
