For Spring/Summer 2026, MM6 Maison Margiela and Salomon renew their collaboration with a capsule collection that further evolves the dialogue between technical performance and contemporary aesthetics. This project continues to explore the boundaries between outdoor and urbanwear, transforming functional elements into true stylistic codes.
A collaboration that continues to redefine the relationship between technology and fashion
At the heart of the collection remains the concept of hybridization. Salomon‘s technical precision meets MM6 Maison Margiela‘s conceptual approach, resulting in a collection in which the sports brand’s trail running heritage is reinterpreted through a new fashion sensibility. Function isn’t hidden, but becomes an integral part of the aesthetic.
The SS26 capsule is developed around three main elements — the XT-MM6 sneakers, the CROSS DUST model and the XT-15 backpack — building a modular system designed to adapt naturally to different scenarios and uses.

XT-MM6
The XT-MM6 returns with three new colorways that blend outdoor imagery with urban flair. Standouts include a light lime shade with an ’80s retro aesthetic, a combination of cool grays brightened by pale yellow accents, and a dark version with a minimalist, contemporary feel.
The Speedcross sole continues to represent the technical heart of the model, ensuring stability, grip, and precision. This element confirms the XT-MM6 as an effective synthesis of functional innovation and stylistic research.

CROSS DUST
The CROSS DUST is born from a reinterpretation of the Cross silhouette, one of the most iconic in Salomon’s technical repertoire. MM6 Maison Margiela reimagines the model by introducing a technical gaiter that redefines the concept of protection through a more conceptual and experimental interpretation.
The detail simultaneously recalls the MM6‘s signature dust bag and Salomon’s technical gaiters, merging two different worlds within the same structure. The result is a lightweight, enveloping, and versatile shoe, designed to offer protection without compromising freedom of movement and comfort.

XT-15 BACKPACK
Completing the collection is the new XT-15 Backpack, updated with a more ergonomic fit, improved comfort and even more accurate functional space management.
The contrasting white rain cover with black logo further emphasizes the backpack’s technical identity, underlining the practical and contemporary approach that characterizes the entire capsule.

A modular system between outdoor and everyday life
Overall, the SS26 collection presents itself as a modular system in which materials, volumes and surfaces are reinterpreted through functional interventions and targeted design details.
Each piece is designed to move fluidly between different environments, balancing Salomon’s technical expertise with MM6 Maison Margiela‘s conceptual vision.
The campaign
The campaign images narrate this dialogue in a direct and natural way. Urban context and outdoor landscapes coexist seamlessly, just as performance and everyday life intertwine in the collection’s products, reinforcing the hybrid identity of the SS26 capsule collection.
