Lightness, minimalism and practicality inspired by running
The TEMPO series, inspired by running vests, combines low weight, a body-hugging fit and trail-optimized comfort with the classic functionality of Gregory’s versatile mountain packs, designed for hiking, trail running and cycling adventures.
TEMPO backpacks offer comfort, breathability, high stability, and a close-to-body carrying system for use on all types of terrain. Designed for those who want to move with confidence and maximum freedom, the collection adapts to every movement—both uphill and downhill. Whether it’s a quick workout after work, a technical mountain run, or a multi-day bikepacking trip.
The design of a vest to wrap the body
The carrying system of TEMPO backpacks has been specifically developed to be as unobtrusive as possible during movement, making the backpack feel like a natural extension of the body.
Slim, vest-like shoulder straps and a breathable AirCushion mesh back panel ensure a precise fit and long-lasting comfort, even during high-intensity activities.
The AirCushion back panel, free of traditional foams, is designed to ensure maximum air circulation on the back. This solution promotes effective heat dispersion, reduces pressure points, and ensures a lightweight and stable fit, even during long climbs or quick changes of pace.
Additional stability is provided by the CloudControl system, with an elasticated hip belt and flexible underarm straps. The dynamic tensioning system keeps the pack close to the body without restricting natural freedom of movement. Especially during high-intensity activities, such as fast hiking, technical descents, or bike rides, the load remains stable, even on uneven terrain and at a fast pace.
The carrying system is completed by two sternum straps; the lower one features an elasticated webbing that ensures an adaptable fit for different body shapes.
Lightweight, breathable, high performance
Functionally, TEMPO is designed entirely around movement. The vest-style shoulder straps feature integrated stretch and zippered pockets with room for a smartphone, snacks, or a 500ml soft flask, allowing quick access to gear, even on the move. Trekking poles can be attached directly to the shoulder straps or secured using the front bungee system.
The structured front panel, made of molded material, provides stability when loading and securing gear, while the elasticated side pockets offer additional storage space. The reflective rings also allow you to attach lights or additional trail equipment. A quick-access zip pocket with integrated key clip allows you to safely store small essentials. Inside, the backpack is also equipped with a hydration system compartment compatible with bags of up to two litres.

The TEMPO collection is available in a unisex version in four capacities and in two color variants — Onyx Black and Dusty Green — and will be available starting from spring 2027.
