Ralph Lauren: Team USA uniforms for the opening and closing ceremonies
Ralph Lauren, in a two-and-a-half-year effort, created vibrant, sporty pieces, including a modern color-blocked puffer jacket with bold Team USA graphics and a wool turtleneck sweater in patriotic colors, paired with solid white cargo pants.
In addition to the opening and closing ceremony uniforms, Ralph Lauren has also created a Team USA collection, offering a range of apparel and accessories for men, women and children that reflect the style and energy of the Games.
The red, white, and blue colors of the American flag are, of course, the primary colors of these garments, which include sweaters, down jackets, fleece outerwear, and hockey-inspired silhouettes.
The collection also includes a stunning sheepskin jacket, a piece with a “personal” meaning for Ralph, the patriarch of the Ralph Lauren family, as he wore it as a boy when he was still selling ties door-to-door.
