“Curation as practice, craft as language”
Northern Irish designer Jonathan Anderson champions a creative credo based on curation as a practice and craftsmanship as a language. This approach defines the identity of his brand, JW Anderson, founded in 2008, where fashion, art, and everyday objects intertwine in a single expressive system.
Equipe: an icon of Italian sneaker culture
The historic Diadora running shoe, created in 1975 for elite athletes on the road and track, remains, more than fifty years after its debut, a true icon of Italian sneaker culture.
A model that has stood the test of time, maintaining its technical and symbolic value intact.

JW Anderson’s reinterpretation
As part of his creative approach, Jonathan Anderson reinterprets the classic lines of Equipe through a new aesthetic sensibility.
The sneaker is thus reinterpreted by the designer’s gaze, opening a new evolutionary chapter for a sportswear icon.

Craft as Language
Made in Italy, born in sport and legendary in style: Equipe continues its evolution through a narrative that combines heritage and modernity, according to JW Anderson’s vision.

EQUIPE JW ANDERSON
Straight from the Diadora archives of 1975, Equipe represents a study in constant evolution. While every stitch and curve pays homage to the original running silhouette, modern materials and elegant finishes bring it fully into the present with great style.
Reinterpreted through the unique lens of JW Anderson, the Equipe is ready to continue its evolution. Crafted in Italy from lightweight fabrics, leather, and suede, it features signature JW Anderson details on the laces, including a small medallion. The low-top silhouette is finished with a stonewash and wax treatment, for a final look in pure Diadora Heritage style.
