With the arrival of spring, the Bee Park created by F.lli Campagnolo in the green area bordering the company headquarters in Romano d’Ezzelino becomes operational.
Ten thousand square meters to protect pollinators and promote biodiversity
Pollinating insects play a vital role in maintaining ecosystems and food production. Estimates suggest that over 75% of agricultural crops and approximately 90% of wild plants depend on their activity. This balance is increasingly delicate, considering that approximately 30% of pollinating species are currently at risk of extinction.
A concrete project for the protection of bees
The company’s project, which covers an area of approximately 10,000 square meters, fits into this context. It was designed to encourage the presence of pollinators by creating a natural habitat featuring native species, capable of ensuring continuous and staggered flowering throughout the year.

Collaboration with 4TREE APS and local beekeepers
The park began to take shape in November 2025, when volunteers from the social promotion association 4TREE APS planted native trees and shrubs, transforming a previously uncultivated area into a space of high ecological value.
Twelve native species were planted, including wild cherry, wild lime, hawthorn, dogwood, blackthorn, and privet, for a total of 96 specimens. The plants were produced from seeds collected in the Veneto woods by technicians from the Veneto Agricoltura nursery in Montecchio Precalcino (VI).
4TREE APS volunteers contributed to the planting activities by providing the experience gained in major environmental restoration projects, such as the one developed in the Marcesina plain in Enego (VI), where over 20,000 trees have already been planted since 2021 following the events linked to Storm Vaia.

A natural habitat with native species
Today, the area is home to eight families of Apis mellifera ligustica, cared for by local beekeeper Alessandro Bisognin.
In March 2026, F.lli Campagnolo also joined the Veneto Regional Beekeepers Association, further strengthening its commitment to protecting pollinators through direct management of the apiary, identified by a special label.
Honey production and environmental enhancement

The honey produced, estimated at between 50 and 100 kilograms annually, is processed in the Association’s laboratories and then distributed to employees and company stakeholders.
