SCARPA introduces the new MAESTRALE, GEA, MAESTRALE RS, and GEA RS models for the FW 2026 season, refreshing one of the most iconic product families in its catalog. For over 15 years, these boots have served as a benchmark in the world of ski mountaineering, offering a combination of performance, functionality, and a focus on fit.

The four models are divided into two complementary families. MAESTRALE and GEA—the men’s and women’s versions, respectively—are designed to offer comfort and versatility to ski mountaineers of varying experience levels. MAESTRALE RS and GEA RS, on the other hand, are aimed at those seeking superior performance, with greater support and precision, especially during the descent.

For the new season, all models introduce new colorways and materials tailored to each specific product family. The most significant update concerns the RS versions, which feature a new four-buckle closure configuration—designed to ensure a stable, precise fit and reliable control while skiing.

MAESTRALE and GEA: comfort and versatility for every level of experience

MAESTRALE and GEA are Alpine Touring boots designed to support a wide range of mountain experiences. Their versatile design makes them well-suited both for those new to ski touring and for those seeking a comfortable fit for regular outings—from shorter excursions to multi-day traverses.

The balance between comfort and performance is supported by targeted technical solutions. The Wave Closure System and the Speed Lock MLT ski/walk mechanism enhance versatility throughout the various stages of an outing, while the Vibram® Cayman Lite sole rounds out the construction, providing a solution well-suited for navigating diverse terrain.

The thermoformable Intuition liner, combined with a comfortable last, allows for a personalized fit tailored to the specific characteristics of the foot. Furthermore, both models are designed to simplify maintenance, which can even be carried out independently.

For the FW 2026 season, MAESTRALE and GEA feature a shell and cuff made of Desmopan® CQ MBC and a tongue crafted from Pebax®, along with new colorways that refresh the aesthetic identity of both models.

MAESTRALE RS and GEA RS: power and precision for high-level performance

MAESTRALE RS and GEA RS are versions designed for those seeking higher performance in ski touring. Compared to the standard models, they feature a firmer, more powerful flex, engineered to provide greater support and precision on the descent while maintaining a wide range of motion during the ascent.

The main innovation for the FW 2026 season is the new four-buckle closure configuration, developed to distribute pressure evenly and ensure a stable, precise fit. The system helps improve ski control, meeting the needs of even the most experienced ski mountaineers, including on the most demanding descents.

In terms of construction, both models combine a Grilamid® shell, a Pebax® Rnew® cuff, and a Pebax® tongue. The technical features also include the Alpine Axial Hybrid Construction, the Speed Lock 4 ski/walk mechanism, and a Vibram® Cayman Lite sole.

As with MAESTRALE and GEA, the RS versions have also been designed to facilitate maintenance, allowing various tasks to be carried out independently.
