SCARPA introduces the F1 RS, the new Alpine Touring ski boot developed for the backcountry and designed for intermediate and expert skiers, mountain guides, and mountain professionals. The project aims to strike a balance between lightness, durability, and performance, featuring technical solutions designed to enhance mobility and efficiency during the ascent while providing support and power transmission during the descent.
The new Overlap Flow Construction makes getting in and out of the shell easy and allows for a wide range of motion during the ascent. On the descent, the BOA® H+1 System enables precise adjustment of the shell closure, thanks to multidirectional micro-adjustments that allow the fit to be quickly adapted to individual needs.
Overlap Flow: freedom of movement on the ascent
Overlap Flow Construction was developed by SCARPA to make putting the boot on and taking it off easier, while simultaneously promoting natural movement during ascents and walking—a particularly useful feature for long climbs and approaches, where mobility and efficiency are crucial.
The shell, crafted from Grilamid® Fiber Glass LFT®, offers a fine balance between stiffness and weight, contributing to direct power transmission and precise ski control, even on the most technical terrain. The cuff and tongue are made of Pebax® Rnew®—a bio-based material known for high elastic return—completing the construction by keeping weight low and ensuring a responsive feel without compromising structural integrity.

BOA® H+1: precise adjustment and fit control
For the downhill, the F1 RS features the BOA® H+1 System, equipped with a micro-adjustable dial that allows for precise closure control, even on a rigid shell. The system enables quick tension adjustment, helping to maintain a stable and uniform fit.
The BOA® Fit System is integrated with the lever and the Booster® Power Strap, creating a closure system designed to enhance foot support and power transmission while skiing.
The package is rounded out by the Intuition® FS Tour liner—paired with a 101 mm last—and the FS Lever system, which allows for a smooth transition between Walk and Ski modes. Meanwhile, the Vibram® FS sole ensures reliable grip during hiking sections and approaches.

A balance between efficiency and performance
The F1 RS is designed for those who spend long hours in the mountains and seek a boot that combines uphill efficiency and freedom of movement with downhill support, precision, and control. It weighs 1,340 g (half-pair, size 27) for the men’s version and 1,210 g (half-pair, size 25) for the women’s—weights that help keep the load manageable while ensuring the necessary stability on technical terrain.
The model is available in men’s and women’s versions—with flex ratings of 115 and 100, respectively—and features a forward lean of 15° ± 2°. Compatibility with Alpine Touring and TLT bindings rounds out the features of a boot developed to handle the various stages of a ski touring day, from the ascent to the descent.
