The revamp involves one of the iconic models in the SCARPA, climbing line, preserving the Relaxed Fit philosophy that over the years has made HELIX a reference choice for multi-pitch, trad climbing and long days on the wall.
SCARPA expands its family with the new HELIX, HELIX WOMAN, HELIX V, and HELIX V WOMAN. Designed for those seeking a durable, comfortable, and versatile shoe, these new versions reinterpret a classic with an updated fit, new colorways, and further refined construction quality, without losing the DNA that has made the series successful.
Alongside the traditional lacing model, HELIX V makes its debut, featuring a double Velcro closure, a solution designed to offer a quicker and more practical fit while maintaining the same comfort and reliability characteristics.
Classic Style Reborn
HELIX is designed for multi-pitch routes, trad itineraries, long days on the wall and guiding, situations where comfort is as essential as precision.
The new flat, neutral last maintains a relaxed fit, while the sole structure provides effective support that helps reduce fatigue even during prolonged use. The low profile of the toe box also improves precision on landings, offering greater control as you progress.
Two locking systems for different needs
The HELIX range is now available in two configurations to suit different usage styles.
HELIX retains the traditional full-length lacing, ideal for obtaining precise adjustment along the entire shoe and customizing the fit based on the shape of the foot and the type of climbing.
The HELIX V, on the other hand, features a practical double Velcro closure, designed to speed up putting on and taking off. This solution is particularly suitable for indoor sessions, days at the crag, and the work of mountain guides, where speed and practicality are an added value.
Durable materials for intensive use
The upper is made of 2mm metal-free leather and paired with a suede insole. The seamless construction in the toe area helps reduce pressure points, increasing comfort during long sessions.
The new construction maintains the robustness and reliability that have always characterised HELIX, confirming it as a shoe designed to accompany the climber season after season.
Support and precision for traditional climbing
The proven two-piece tensioning system improves foot wrapping and toe support, while the thermoplastic polymer midsole, the most supportive in the SCARPA climbing range, ensures stability and support even on the longest routes.
The structure is completed by the 3.5 mm Vibram® XS Edge sole, a solution that guarantees precision, durability, and reliability. Thanks to this configuration, the HELIX is particularly suitable for trad climbing and long routes, where maintaining performance over time is essential.
