This update maintains the model’s identity, known for its reliability and ease of use, while adding a refreshed, urban-inspired design and an even more effective balance between support, feel, and comfort.
Born to Boulder
ORIGIN VS was created to meet the needs of modern indoor climbing, where long training sessions and dynamic movements require a shoe capable of guaranteeing immediate comfort and consistent performance.
The new updated neutral shape allows for prolonged use without foot fatigue, making the model ideal for both those new to bouldering and more experienced climbers looking for a comfortable solution for intensive training.
Sensitivity and precision thanks to the new upper
One of the main updates concerns the upper, now made entirely of microfibre, a choice that improves sensitivity and precision.
This construction offers more direct contact with the surface, promoting a better perception of volumes and supports typical of indoor climbing, while maintaining comfort and adaptability even during prolonged use.
Grip and control when hooking
The toe is covered in M50 rubber, a soft and elastic compound developed by SCARPA to ensure high grip and greater adaptability.
The new laser-engraved toe patch further improves grip when toe hooking, offering more control in the technical and dynamic movements typical of contemporary bouldering.
Balance between support and practicality
The S72 full rubber outsole, developed internally by SCARPA, guarantees an optimal balance between softness, grip and support, proving effective both on indoor volumes and on smaller supports.
The classic tensioning system and single-strap closure ensure a quick and easy fit, making shoe management practical during gym sessions.
Two versions for a more precise fit
The line is available in two variants:
- ORIGIN VS, with standard fitwith standard fit
- ORIGIN VS LV, with reduced volume in the heel and instep area, designed to better fit narrower feet
