La Sportiva is expanding its climbing equipment line with the Granite 45 Crag and Granite 25 Crag—two backpacks designed to accompany climbers from daily gym training sessions to days spent at the crag. With a 45-liter capacity, the Granite 45 Crag is designed for full days at the crag, capable of carrying all your essential gear—rope, quickdraws, helmet, climbing shoes, and apparel. Its generous volume, dual access points (from the top and back), integrated rope tarp, and dedicated internal compartments allow for practical and efficient organization of your equipment. Meanwhile, an internal aluminum frame, a structured hip belt, and a reinforced base ensure comfort and stability, even when the pack is heavily loaded.
Granite 25 Crag: versatility for the climbing gym and everyday life
The Granite 25 Crag is designed to accompany climbers through their daily routine, offering a compact and versatile solution for moving between home, work, and the gym. With a 25-liter capacity, a dedicated internal laptop sleeve, various organizational options, and a quick-access system for the main compartment, it allows you to comfortably carry the essential gear needed for an indoor session or a day at the crag. The ability to attach a rope to the exterior, combined with convenient grab handles, makes this a backpack that blends technical functionality with everyday practicality.
Durable materials and construction designed to last
Both models share a construction developed to withstand intensive, long-term use. The main fabric—recycled 630D Nylon Oxford with a Carbonite coating and an Ultra Tear Strength lining—offers high resistance to abrasion and wear, while the upper fabric, made of recycled Nylon Star, provides greater flexibility.
The features also include a thermoformed back panel, a reinforced base to keep the backpack stable while loading, YKK® zippers, and carefully selected components to ensure long-term reliability.
