Birkenstock Pack Utility Felt: the evolution of the iconic design between comfort and functionality
The Boston Nova and London Nova models are inspired by the aesthetic of functional workwear, keeping intact the principle of “walking as nature intended”, thanks to the unmistakable original anatomical Birkenstock footbed.

Natural comfort and timeless design
The concept of natural walking is a cornerstone of the Birkenstock philosophy. Each new collection renews this value, blending tradition, innovation, and functionality.
Featuring a cork and latex footbed, Karl Birkenstock‘s iconic Boston, inspired by Brutalist architecture, has become a true icon of the brand since the 1970s.
In 2025, this timeless model will celebrate its 50th anniversary, continuing to represent a benchmark in contemporary footwear design.
Introduced in 1986, the London was the brand’s first major step into the world of closed-toe shoes. Over the years, it has explored new shapes and materials through collaborations with brands like Kith and Filson, while always maintaining the essence of Birkenstock’s signature comfort and functionality.

Felt Utility Pack: Craftsmanship and Urban Style
Wool felt, a warm, durable, and breathable material, lends a wintery, authentic look, while the visible stitching highlights the craftsmanship and quality of the construction.
Completing the design are a rustproof metal buckle, adjustable nylon straps, a cork-latex footbed, and a Birkengrip sole with an EVA midsole and flexible rubber tread — perfect for stability, comfort, and durability.

Modern versatility for every wardrobe
The Birkenstock Pack Utility Felt redefines contemporary versatility for everyday urban wear, combining distinctive design, functionality, and comfort.
Available in Anthracite and Stone Coin, the Boston Nova and London Nova models represent a perfect balance between heritage and modernity, reaffirming the German brand’s 250 years of craftsmanship.
