On Friday, October 2nd, La Sportiva—a Trentino-based company specializing in technical footwear and apparel for mountain sports—officially inaugurated its new brand store in Arco. Attended by the Delladio family and company management, the opening brought together local officials, partners, staff, and key figures from the international climbing community, celebrating a new milestone in the company’s growth and its historic bond with the Arco area.

A new space at the heart of the international outdoor sector
The new store aims to strengthen La Sportiva’s presence in one of the most iconic regions for outdoor activities and climbing. This move aligns with the brand’s strategy, which is based on balancing international growth, deep local roots, and direct engagement with its communities.
Internationally recognized as one of the capitals of climbing, Arco has long been a focal point for athletes and enthusiasts from around the globe, as well as being deeply connected to the history of La Sportiva. It is within this community—which shares the brand’s values and culture—that the company’s new retail concept takes shape.

From climbing to mountain running: all La Sportiva categories
Located at Via della Cinta 7, the La Sportiva brand store in Arco offers the company’s key product categories, ranging from climbing and Mountain Running® to hiking, mountaineering, and ski mountaineering.
The goal is to go beyond the traditional shopping experience by creating a space that connects products, experiences, and the community. The store will host a program of activations, events, and gatherings aimed at athletes, enthusiasts, and mountain professionals.

A concept that tells the story of the brand’s origins.
The store’s concept directly evokes La Sportiva’s manufacturing heritage and the mountain setting where the company was founded and continues to operate. Materials and components from the Ziano di Fiemme production lines have been reinterpreted for a retail environment, forging a tangible link between the place where the products are made and the place where they are discovered, used, and shared by the outdoor community.

Lorenzo Delladio, President of La Sportiva, highlighted the significance of the opening: “La Sportiva was born and raised in Trentino and continues to look to the future while remaining firmly rooted in its origins. The opening of this store in Arco marks an important step in our growth journey and strengthens our bond with a region that has long been a global reference point for climbing and outdoor culture.”
Giulia Delladio, Chief Strategy Officer and Board Member of La Sportiva, outlined the concept behind the new space, which was designed to go beyond a purely commercial function: “We envisioned this store as much more than just a retail outlet. We want it to be a space that conveys La Sportiva’s products, innovation, and values, but above all, a meeting place open to the outdoor community—an environment where climbers, runners, and mountain enthusiasts can gather, exchange ideas, and experience the local area through shared events, activities, and experiences.”
Francesco Delladio, Product Marketing Manager for Climbing, Mountaineering & Approach and a Board Member at La Sportiva, highlighted the historic bond between the company, the Arco region, and the history of climbing: “La Sportiva’s growth is inextricably linked to the evolution of climbing. Arco is not only one of the world’s climbing capitals but a place that embodies the stories, challenges, and people who have shaped the journey of our family and our brand. Being here today means celebrating that shared heritage and continuing a dialogue that has connected us to the international climbing community for decades.”
With its official opening, the Arco brand store fully joins La Sportiva’s retail network, complementing its commercial offerings with a program of initiatives and activities dedicated to the outdoor world and its communities.
