Every climb begins with a question. Who are we? What places do we want to reach? Where do we find the space to express our identity and our way of experiencing the mountains? These are the questions that inform the new Ortles mountaineering collection for the fall/winter 2026 season, with which Salewa focuses on the most authentic and personal dimension of mountaineering.

Mountaineering has always been at the heart of Salewa‘s identity. It’s an activity that has helped define the brand and continues to guide its evolution today. But the mountains are changing. Seasons are increasingly unpredictable, windows of good weather are shrinking, and conditions are becoming more extreme. At the same time, the number of people choosing the mountains to rediscover authenticity, clarity, and a new sense of freedom is growing.

Mountains aren’t just a sporting destination. They’re open spaces for discovery, places where you can test your limits, make decisions, and explore new perspectives. The “Enter_your Mountain Space” campaign captures this experience and represents the starting point for the new Ortles mountaineering collection.

Today’s mountaineers seek much more than performance alone. They seek versatility, safety, comfort, and aesthetics, relying on products that can adapt to the unexpected and varying conditions of the mountains. Salewa’s response is the new Ortles Fall/Winter 2026 collection.

Developed in the Dolomites and tested at high altitude, the collection accompanies every stage of the mountaineering experience, from technical approaches to challenging ascents, to ski mountaineering and mountaineering adventures. Each product is designed with a specific goal: to offer everything you need, eliminating the unnecessary. The result is a highly technical collection that combines protection, high performance, and a clean, functional design language.
