For this reason, among the Outdoor Sports highlights of the SS26 season, VAUDE highlights a set-up designed for walkers: the Elope 3L Jacket, available in women’s and men’s versions, together with the Wizard 22+4 and Wizard 24+4 backpacks.
Elope 3L Jacket
The Elope 3L Jacket is designed as a technical shell for hiking and trekking, with a 3-layer construction designed to offer protection from wind and rain without sacrificing breathability. Notable details include underarm ventilation with water-repellent zippers, a two-way front zipper for better airflow management, and an adjustable hood designed to provide protection even in inclement weather. The main fabric is made primarily of recycled polyester; the women’s version also features the waterproof, windproof, and breathable Ceplex Advanced membrane.
Wizard 22+4 e 24+4
Alongside the jacket, VAUDE offers two backpacks that play their best card on versatility. The Wizard 22+4, designed for women, and the Wizard 24+4 share the Aeroflex Control system, which allows you to quickly switch from a more ventilated configuration to a more snug fit, useful when the terrain changes or the load requires greater stability. Both offer a 4-liter zippered volume expansion, a front pocket organizer, hydration system compatibility, hiking pole attachment, and an included rain cover. The 22+4 adds women’s-specific shoulder straps, while the 24+4 features adjustable back length.
The strong point of the proposal, however, is not only technical. It is practical. The Elope 3L Jacket is designed for a wide range of uses, from the most dynamic outings to the most challenging treks, while the two Wizards expand their range to include active everyday life, bike tours, and via ferratas. It’s a clear vision of contemporary hiking: fewer unnecessary specialties, more well-designed products that really work when needed. The direction is also clear when it comes to materials. The Wizards use certified recycled materials and a water-repellent Eco Finish treatment without PFC/PFAS, as well as the Green Shape label; the Elope also uses recycled materials, an Eco Finish treatment, and bears the Green Shape label. In other words: products built to be outdoors for long periods, but with a supply chain that strives to leave less debris in its wake.
