The history of the Trango boot by La Sportiva is more than 32 years long, and has accompanied generations of mountaineers focused on mixed climbing objectives in the Alps.

From the first boot capable of combining technique and lightness in 1992, to the one with a sole capable of adapting to semi-automatic crampons, to the one with a synthetic upper with 3D Flex system, to the one that introduced the Gore-Tex membrane in 2005, to the one with a seamless upper with injected inserts up to the Trango Pro GTX 2024, the maximum expression of La Sportiva know-how in the modern mountaineering sector.

How it is made and for whom

The evolution of mountaineering towards speed and lightness has pushed La Sportiva to respond to the needs of contemporary mountaineers, developing Trango Pro GTX. This shoe introduces the new Trango Ergo shape, characterized by a slimmer fit, designed to adapt perfectly to different foot shapes and guarantee precise support even on the most difficult terrain.

Thanks to the collaboration with excellent partners, La Sportiva offers a cutting-edge solution for an uncompromising experience: the gaiter is made of water-repellent, elasticized and anti-abrasion fabric, with the Vortex® closure system to protect from snow and debris, as well as safeguarding the upper lacing. The waterproof GORE-TEX Performance Comfort lining ensures protection from atmospheric agents, while the Vibram® Cube Evo sole, with SpringLug Tech technology, offers abrasion resistance, optimal protection and exceptional grip.
