The new Pedroc Speed Hiking collection for spring–summer 2026 from Salewa
For the spring–summer 2026 season, Salewa presents a new collection dedicated to speed hiking, a discipline that combines dynamism, lightness, and freedom of movement. But the message of the new campaign goes beyond performance: the true goal is not absolute speed, but rather the personal pace at which one chooses to experience the mountains.

The campaign’s tagline—”Set the tone (of your hike)“—invites hikers to find their own pace and frequency. Speed hiking thus becomes an individual experience, which can be meditative and silent, energetic and dynamic, or intense and spontaneous. In this approach, movement becomes a form of listening: to the body, to the breath, and to the natural environment.

Lightness, protection and versatility
The Spring–Summer 2026 speed hiking collection has been designed to offer maximum flexibility and cross-use throughout the year, integrating with the garments of the Autumn–Winter 2025/26 season.
Lightweight materials, high breathability, and technical construction ensure comfort and freedom of movement on both challenging terrain and more relaxed hikes. Clean lines, modern cuts, and a warm color palette translate the energy of speed hiking into a contemporary sporty aesthetic that combines functionality, lightness, and style.
When movement meets music
The central element of the campaign is the dialogue between movement and rhythm, developed through collaboration with Italian DJ and producer Godblesscomputers.
The artist—real name Lorenzo Nada—created three original soundtracks for the campaign, each built around a different BPM (beats per minute), inspired by the heart rates typical of three approaches to speed hiking: calm, dynamic, and intense.
The tracks are born from environmental recordings and natural sounds captured outdoors, transformed into electronic compositions that interpret three different ways of experiencing the mountains.
The three “personalities” of the campaign are:
Escapist
Loves the freedom and speed of trail riding, often off the beaten track. She prefers lightweight, high-performance gear for fast, fluid movement.
Gleamer
Seeks tranquility and awareness in nature. He views hiking as a meditative and regenerating experience.
Hiker
Represents dynamic movement and the balance between physical and mental well-being, adapting to different terrain and weather conditions.
