This winter, Patagonia’s Worn Wear vehicles are back on the roads of Europe, stopping at major mountain resorts and winter sports events as part of the Patagonia Worn Wear Snow Tour 2025.
The mobile repair workshops will reach the most iconic ski destinations in the Alps and the UK, bringing a clear message to the slopes: if a garment is broken, it can be fixed.

Free repairs on the ski slopes
Aboard Worn Wear vehicles, the Patagonia team will offer free repairs on any brand of clothing, on a first-come, first-served basis.
It will be possible to bring jackets, trousers and technical layers with:
- damaged hinges
- tears or lacerations
- broken buttons
- small defects due to intense use in the mountains
In addition to repairs, the team will share practical tips for maintaining and repairing technical clothing, helping to extend its life and reduce textile waste.

Every piece tells a story
Outdoor clothing isn’t just functional: it holds memories of memorable days at high altitude, of roped glacier crossings, or of evenings spent with friends around a fire.
The Worn Wear program was created for precisely this purpose: to make products last over time and allow them to be repaired, ready to accompany us on our next adventure.

“This jacket has been through a lot, through dirt, sweat, stormy days, and rock climbing. It’s no longer just a technical piece, it’s part of my story. It’s out there, when things don’t go according to plan, that the real adventures begin.”
—Nicholas Wolken, Patagonia Snow Ambassador
“For me, clothing is a mosaic of stories told through scratches, tears, and patches.”
—Robbie Phillips, Patagonia Climb Ambassador
The Worn Wear Mobile Lab
Patagonia’s mobile workshop was handcrafted to reach even the most remote locations in Europe. It houses technical repair equipment, bringing hot chocolate and a friendly atmosphere right to the slopes.
Technical advice for snow clothing
The Worn Wear team will also offer practical advice on keeping your snow gear performing well season after season, teaching fundamental techniques such as:
- applying patches
- restoration of the waterproofness of the shells (DWR)
- zipper repair

Why Worn Wear?
- The Patagonia Worn Wear program was launched in 2013 to encourage garment care through washing, maintenance, and repair.
- Extending the life cycle of clothing is one of the most effective ways to reduce environmental impact, limiting new production, CO₂ emissions, water consumption, and waste.
- According to data from the British group WRAP, extending the use of a garment by just nine months reduces the carbon footprint, waste and water consumption by 20–30%.
- To expand its service in Europe, Patagonia is partnering with United Repair Centre, with centers in Amsterdam, London, and Paris, aiming to repair 100,000 garments annually by 2028.

The numbers of Worn Wear
- Over 30 Worn Wear events organised in Europe in the last year

Can’t make the tour? Here are some helpful tips.
If you can’t make it to a stop on the Worn Wear Tour, the Patagonia team recommends some practical tips for your snow outings:
- Always carry some technical tape in your backpack, essential for quick repairs on small tears.
- Needle, thread, and scissors can save a day, especially when dealing with zippers or small holes.
- Wash and dry your technical garments and waterproof shells regularly: this protects the internal taping and reactivates the durable water repellent (DWR) treatment, keeping your gear ready for your next adventure.
