From retail to events: La Sportiva invests in the north Garda lake area
La Sportiva is strengthening its presence in the Alto Garda area through a comprehensive investment and activation plan involving retail, sporting events, and initiatives that engage directly with the community. The area, now recognized as one of Europe’s leading outdoor hubs, represents a strategic territory where the brand has chosen to focus new investments and further consolidate its presence.
The journey began with the opening of the new brand store in Arco, announced for March 2026. The store’s concept reflects the company’s manufacturing identity and the mountainous setting in which it was founded and operates: materials and components from the Trentino factory are reinterpreted for retail, strengthening the connection with the headquarters in Ziano di Fiemme. The store hosts all La Sportiva product categories and is intended as a hub for community engagement, integrating products, in-store experiences, and events. The official opening is scheduled for October 2026, during the Rock Master.

Strategic partnerships and focus on Mountain Running
In this context, La Sportiva has chosen to develop its local investment also through projects related to strategic categories for the brand. The company has launched a multi-year collaboration with Garda Trentino Trail, becoming an official partner of the event starting with the 2026 edition, scheduled for May 15-17.
This choice confirms a long-term vision and strategic investment in both the Alto Garda area and the Mountain Running category, an increasingly central segment in the brand’s development.

International Athletes Meeting e Outdoor Business Days
North Garda Lake will also host the next La Sportiva International Athletes Meeting. From May 12th to 16th, the Mountain Running and Ski Mountaineering teams participated in days of teamwork and shared activities, designed to foster discussion among athletes from different disciplines and strengthen internal team relationships.
To complete its territorial strategy, La Sportiva also confirms its participation in the Outdoor & Running Business Days in Riva del Garda, with a structured presence both on the consumer front, through a program of dedicated activations, and in the trade fair area aimed at industry professionals.
During the Activation Days, scheduled for Saturday, May 16th and Sunday, May 17th, the company will offer field experiences dedicated to mountain running and climbing, making its flagship models available for technical tests and moments of direct interaction with the community and industry professionals.

Riva del Garda at the center of the international strategy
The strategic role of the Alto Garda region was further confirmed by the recent selection of Riva del Garda as the venue for the recently concluded SS27 International Sales Meeting. The event brought together over 200 people from the international sales network for the presentation of the Spring/Summer 2027 collection, further strengthening the bond between La Sportiva and the Garda region.
