There is a place where rock merges with passion, where climbers from all over the world meet to celebrate sharing, movement and nature: it is the Melloblocco, the largest international outdoor bouldering meeting, which in 2025 will return to the forefront from 7 to 10 May in the iconic valleys of Val Masino and Val di Mello.

For the twenty-first consecutive year, La Sportiva – a Trentino-based company and world leader in the production of technical mountain footwear and clothing – proudly renews its sponsorship of this event that, since 2004, has represented a symbol of freedom and community in the world of climbing. Melloblocco: not just bouldering, but community spirit
Melloblocco is more than a gathering: it is an immersive experience, open to everyone, from beginners to internationally renowned athletes. Names like Adam Ondra, Nalle Hukkataival, Stefano Ghisolfi and Barbara Zangerl have passed through here, contributing over time to making the event a global point of reference for the bouldering scene.
The 2025 edition also promises to be packed with events, with important new features designed to enrich the participants’ experience:
- Boulder contests open to all
- La Sportiva Product Test
- Mello Talks powered by La Sportiva & Brazz (May 8th and 9th): Inspirational talks with athletes and special guests
- “Let’s Block!”, a creative workshop on the aesthetics of movement in climbing
- Grimpeuses at La Sportiva (May 10): focus on women’s and inclusive climbing
- Climbing Party La Sportiva: the traditional evening party to close the festival
Athletes, meetings, inspiration
Among the expected guests are some of the most representative names on the international scene: Caroline Ciavaldini, James Pearson, Luis Funk, Mattea Potzi, Michael Piccolruaz, Michele Caminati, Mina Markovic, Nicolai Uznik, Salomè Romain, Siara Fabbri, Silvio Reffo and Stefan Scherz. They will be the protagonists of the four days dedicated to rock, ready to share advice, anecdotes and pure passion for bouldering.
