It’s on, Homeland Skialp Fest is back with a new edition that promises excitement, discovery and moments of discussion. Not only snow and adventure, but also an opportunity to explore the future of the mountains, between sustainability, safety and new outdoor experiences.

In addition to incredible powder descents and activities in the environment, the festival offers a rich program of talks, screenings and meetings with experts, athletes and professionals in the field. An opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of ski mountaineering and the outdoors from a more conscious and responsible perspective.

A solution without ski lifts

How is the way of experiencing mountains changing? This discussion addresses the need for a new, more sustainable approach in line with climate change. Moderated by Giorgia Garancini, it will feature Sofia Farina, president of Protect Our Winters (POW) Italy, an atmospheric physicist and member of the Science Alliance, along with mountain guides and experts. An open discussion on how to redesign the outdoor experience while reducing environmental impact.

A documentary made by Protect Our Winters (POW) in collaboration with Icebreaker about the effects of melting glaciers on ecosystems and communities. A powerful narrative that confronts us with the need for action to preserve the alpine environment.

Bike & Ski – From the Alps to the sea, without a car

An adventure that starts in Madesimo, the town farthest from the sea, and goes all the way to Ventimiglia. The documentary by Nicola Ciapponi and Elia Guanella, produced by MOUNTAIN 360 X Homeland with support from Smith and Suunto, chronicles an epic journey between cycling and skiing, proving that a more sustainable approach to the mountains is possible.
