COROS Wearables Inc., a company specializing in sports technology, and SATISFY combine their visions for the first time, giving life to the SATISFY COROS APEX 4, a special interpretation of the GPS watch dedicated to mountain sports. A model that preserves the consolidated performances of COROS and combines them with a new aesthetic, inspired by the natural environments and territories that form the backdrop to the collaboration.
A refined construction contains all the technology of the APEX 4: the case is characterized by a crystallized black titanium bezel and a sapphire glass, exclusive elements of this version. On board we find a 1.3-inch always-on MIPS display, dual-frequency GPS and an autonomy of up to 65 hours on a single charge. The model comes with two interchangeable straps: one in khaki-colored nylon, embellished with the woven SATISFY logo, and one in green silicone, designed to deal with humidity, sweat and particularly intense workouts.

“At COROS, in addition to providing athletes with the world’s best wearable devices for mountain sports, we also want to create watches that are aesthetically beautiful,” said Lewis Wu, CEO of COROS. “Bringing SATISFY’s distinctive aesthetics and design to APEX 4 has allowed us to develop a different experience, capable of changing the way mountain athletes perceive the technology they wear and rely on every day.”
A collaboration born from a passion for mountain running
Brice Partouche, Founder and Creative Director of SATISFY, underlines the personal relationship that gave rise to the partnership:

“I have relied on APEX for my racing for years. This trust is at the core of everything; the collaboration came later. The fact that COROS chose SATISFY for its first ever brand collaboration says it all. It reflects a mutual respect for build quality and performance, as well as the belief that the best products are born from an obsession with detail. Designing three unique dials was a natural extension of this shared vision.”
The campaign was carried out in the Pyrenees
The campaign dedicated to the new watch was created in the Pyrenees, following SATISFY Pro athlete Vaida NAKROSIUTE and runner Essaw “Essi” TESFOM TEKLE during their runs through technical alpine terrain. The images show the mountain from the runners’ perspective, accompanying them along challenging routes and describing the direct relationship between the athlete, the environment and technology.
During the campaign, all 19.66 km traveled among the late summer vegetation and screes shaped by time were recorded, using this special version of the APEX 4.
The SATISFY COROS APEX 4 also introduces three exclusive dials designed by SATISFY: Physical Overview, Training Overview and Environment Conditions. The special edition also includes three training sessions developed by Stian Sommerseth, SATISFY Pro athlete, and available exclusively for this model.
For COROS, this is the first collaboration with a clothing brand: technology, performance research and outdoor culture come together in a project that aims to redefine the relationship between the runner and the device he wears while running.
