A new evolution of collaboration
The North Face and Cecilie Bahnsen present their third capsule, unveiled at the Spring/Summer 2026 show during Paris Fashion Week.
This new capsule introduces a more modular approach to performance wear, based on adaptability and transformation: in form, function and feel of the garment.
Lightness and modularity: the new language of performance wear
Designed for the warmer months, the collection showcases a spontaneous and fluid way of dressing. Technical garments are lighter, softer, and more versatile. Silhouettes transform, layer, and evolve, giving rise to a new interpretation of practicality.
Bahnsen’s signature romantic codes intertwine with The North Face’s functional approach, generating an unprecedented balance between aesthetics and utility.
“We’ve found our rhythm. This season is all about lightness, not just in materials but also in spirit. These are garments that change with the wearer, intimate and natural, despite their precision.”
Cecilie Bahnsen
Transformable garments and iconic details
At the heart of the SS26 collection is an ongoing exploration of modularity. The pieces are designed to evolve throughout the day:
- a floral ripstop jacket with removable sleeves transforms into a vest
- matching trousers become shorts
- the floral motif runs through the entire collection as a common thread

Materials and new technical interpretations
Alongside the printed garments, a second line in embossed ripstop in olive tones reinterprets wind protection with:
- a pullover with a defined waist
- a long hybrid coat with a loose fit

Accessories and footwear: between function and delicacy
Accessories expand the dialogue between contrasts:
- a duffel backpack revisited in an architectural key
- the Maria clutch in white ripstop with floral snap hook
The capsule collection is completed by a single shoe model: the “shandal”, a fusion between a sandal and a shoe, enriched by the iconic floral detail.

A new vision: less alpine, more ethereal
This third collaboration marks an evolution compared to the previous ones: less tied to the Alpine aesthetic and more oriented towards a light and ephemeral dimension.
The garments don’t imitate function, but embrace it naturally and intuitively. The result is a deeply wearable collection, yet more delicate in its expression.

Countryside among the Norwegian landscapes
Shot by Ellen Fedors and featuring athlete Angie Scarth-Johnson, the campaign comes to life along the route between Bergen and Finse.
Norwegian landscapes form the backdrop to a visual story inspired by the anticipation of travel: that suspended moment before adventure, where stillness precedes movement.
