The ADVANCED PANT bib and brace was created specifically for athletes: designed for high altitude mountaineering and mountaineering, it offers lightweight, reliable waterproofing, high breathability, an ergonomic fit, and a pre-shaped cut in both the men’s and women’s versions.
A smart, discreet and practical solution
The strong point of the ADVANCED PANT is the double snap button system that allows you to open the back when needed, without having to take the bib shorts off completely. The elasticated back insert also hugs the waist and maintains the perfect fit even during the most dynamic movements: a key detail for those who want to ski without the pants opening up at the back. To complete the look, adjustable and removable braces are essential for ensuring maximum freedom of movement.
ULTRASHELL®: protection and reliability
Thanks to the ULTRASHELL® membrane developed in-house by CIMALP to ensure constant protection in changing weather, the ADVANCED PANT offers a 20,000 mm waterproof rating and 80,000 MVP breathability. It therefore guarantees total protection from snow and rain, while also promoting the evacuation of body moisture.
The Ultrashell® membrane‘s excellent properties stem from its microporous structure: its pores are approximately 20,000 times smaller than a drop of water, but 700 times larger than a vapor molecule. This effectively traps external water, while allowing sweat vapor to escape, keeping the body dry and protected for longer.
The result is a technology with an excellent balance between lightness, protection and compressibility.
Details that make the difference
Internal gaiters prevent snow from entering the ankles, while snap buttons at the bottom of the legs allow for adjustable ankle width. Additionally, the integrated RECCO® system adds an extra level of safety in case of emergency.
