The WindFestival 2025 chooses the spring in Andora.

WindFestival, Italy’s largest Expo dedicated to sea and wind action sports, is getting ready to kick off and from Friday 11 to Sunday 13 April it will be back in Andora for the third time. The fourteenth edition, organised by Valter Scotto together with his son Conan Scotto of TF7 ActionSport ASD, will come to life at the Parco delle Farfalle where the Expo Area will host stands open until 10.00 p.m., Street Food, and musical entertainment. On the seafront, sailing, competitions, beginners’ lessons, free equipment trials, classes conducted by professional athletes, and a Fitness Area dedicated entirely to wellness will be on the programme.

The WindFestival 2025 will be divided into three thematic areas ready to offer numerous sports activities not only for athletes but also for families and children. The Water and Wind area brings together sea and wind sports and offers the chance to get closer to sailing activities with free mini lessons in surfing, wingfoil, kitesurfing and SUP. The highlight will be the first stage of the Italian AICW Windsurfing Championship, where top windsurfers are expected to take part, such as Matteo Iachino, two-time Slalom Foil world champion and one-time PWA Speed Foil champion, Blanca Alabau PWA Slalom world champion, and the Swiss Balz Müller, an acrobatic freestyle foil virtuoso.

As always, the WindFestival will give ample space to adaptive disciplines within the Paralympic area with the Windsurfing Adaptive Challenge, a project open to all types of disabilities that promotes the values of inclusion and respect through sport, a universal language capable of uniting the whole of humanity. This third edition of the National Parawindsurfing Championship will see Roberta Galizia from Sexten, a Paralympic parasurfing and table tennis athlete, compete.

The Outdoor Area, on the other hand, is dedicated to fans of land sports who will be able to try their hand at trekking excursions that are open to all and completely free of charge, while two-wheel enthusiasts will be able to take part in tours to discover the beauties of the Andorese hinterland, one of which is about 40 km long and is dedicated to the more experienced and two shorter ones.

Event within the Event is Windfestival by Night, with two events that will animate the park until late at night. On Friday night the Bikini Contest, the event celebrating female beauty by naming the ladies with 5 prize bands and the knights with a title that will elect the most sculpted physique of the summer, followed by an 80s/90s dance evening with entertainment by Maurilio from Radio Onda Ligure 101, and on Saturday night with the Live Show of the Vasco Rossi Tribute by Kikko Sauda and La Combriccola del Blasco.

The 2025 edition of the WindFestival is co-organised with the Municipality of Andora and sponsored by the Liguria Region, the Liguria Regional Coni Committee, the Italian Paralympic Committee, CSEN and AICWindsurfing. We would like to thank the Coast Guard and all the commercial operators who are supporting the event.
