Sarah-Quita Offringa – The Greatest of All Time

Few athletes have shaped a sport like Sarah-Quita Offringa (Starboard / NeilPryde / Maui Ultra Fins). From the turquoise waters of Aruba, the bright-smiling young girl has conquered the world, one discipline at a time. What began as a passion, following in her brother’s footsteps, led the young Offringa to climb the ranks with a natural style and competitive instinct that set her apart almost immediately. By her late teens, she was rewriting the record books. But her story goes far beyond titles. Recognition for her success and dedication has transcended the sport, culminating in her being knighted by Aruba, a testament to her impact not only as an athlete, but also as an ambassador for her country and for windsurfing worldwide. However, with success comes expectation. Wearing the title “Queen of Windsurfing” comes with considerable pressure, with every event, every heat, and every season helping to cement an ever-growing legacy. This is the story of Sarah-Quita Offringa. Not just the champion, but also the person behind it all. Filmed during the Fuerteventura World Cup in July 2025. Over the course of the season, Offringa won 28 PWA World Championship titles, the all-time record for a PWA athlete.
