At Prowinter 2026, RYF® made its debut, the first ski boot closure system featuring integrated memory and self-balancing tensioning.
Already adopted by the Lange and Kästle brands, this technology represents a tangible evolution of traditional closure systems, combining precision, comfort, and functional intelligence.

What is RYF® and how does it work?

RYF® (Remember Your Fit®) is an innovative closure system developed by an R&D team specialized in the sports sector and produced entirely in Italy with high-performance materials.

The heart of the technology is a central buckle with memory adjustment, combined with a cable tensioning system that evenly distributes force across the foot, creating an effective wrapping effect.
The result is a more precise, comfortable, and repeatable fit, without the need for constant micro-adjustments.

RYF® is available in three versions – Core, World Cup and Easy – all based on the same central lever architecture.

Integrated memory and constant fit

By opening the central lever, the tension on the foot is completely released. By closing it, the system automatically restores the previously set adjustment, ensuring a consistent fit with every use.

Self-balancing tensioning

The cable system, with optimised anchoring points, ensures progressive and uniform pressure distribution, reducing localised peaks and improving sensitivity, stability and power transmission while skiing.

The three RYF® systems in detail

RYF® Core

RYF® Core is the most complete and versatile version of the system. It is composed of:

  • winder with effort reducer
  • metal cable
  • two low-friction diverters
  • central lever with memory

It allows for smooth and precise micro-adjustments, both with the lever open and closed, with the option of micrometric tensioning and release.
It is compatible with all shell geometries developed for traditional levers.

RYF® World Cup

Designed for competitive use and maximum performance, RYF® World Cup uses:

  • simplified rotary system
  • metal cable
  • central lever connected to the rack

Made of high-strength metal materials and a low, shock-absorbing profile, it guarantees extremely rapid adjustments, direct transmission of forces and maximum precision even in the most extreme conditions.

RYF® Easy

RYF® Easy is the most intuitive and immediate system in the range.
The ratchet lever allows for quick micro-adjustment, while the central lever retains the setting.

Ideal for:

  • recreational skiers
  • those seeking comfort and simplicity
  • who wants to facilitate the step-in and step-out phases

It is compatible with all traditional hull geometries.

First applications: Lange and Kästle

Lange CONCEPT

On the Lange CONCEPT model (2025/26 season), the RYF® Easy system allows for three-point control with just one hook on the shell, ensuring a consistent fit and ease of use.
