An award that anticipates market trends
Organized as part of Prowinter—the leading trade fair for the outdoor and winter sports industry, held at Fiera Bolzano from 11 to 13 January 2026—the Prowinter Award is one of the event’s most anticipated moments. It’s an opportunity to discover the products that anticipate trends and define the innovations of the 2026/2027 season.

A point of reference for innovation and technical quality
Created to offer retailers and rental companies a concrete criterion for identifying products with the greatest market potential, the Prowinter Award has become a privileged observatory on technical evolution, design, and sustainability strategies in the winter sector. The award recognizes companies capable of combining performance, aesthetics, and authenticity.
The evaluation criteria
The jury will evaluate the products according to six key criteria:
- Innovation
- Saleability
- Technologies
- Design
- Storytelling
- Environmental responsibility
The new sustainability criteria recognizes products that stand out for their recycled or recyclable materials, low-impact manufacturing processes, durability, ease of repair, and sustainable packaging. The goal is to recognize those who actively invest in green winter sports products.

A concrete commitment to sustainability
The 2026 edition introduces for the first time an ESG consultant to support the jury in the environmental assessment, confirming Prowinter’s commitment to an increasingly responsible and transparent approach. This strong message goes beyond aesthetics and performance, also rewarding positive environmental impact.
