Outdoor, Tactical? The line is blurred.
We had never tried a boot of this type before, also because Prabos Striker is probably unique on the market.
For those unfamiliar with the term Tactical, it refers to the category of use of the special forces of the armies or the operational units of the police forces, contingents that operate on various types of outdoor terrain and require extremely reliable and functional equipment.

What is the connection between the Tactical and Outdoor categories at the product level? The environment in which both activities take place—the outdoors—and the user’s need for reliable, comfortable, and high-performance products, particularly footwear.
In this context, Striker by Prabos represents the link between two contiguous realities, a ring of excellence.

Striker, our impressions
As mentioned, we had never tried a hybrid product, one that was also suitable for the Tactical category, and we were really curious to do so.
From the first time you put them on, you feel like you’re wearing a tailor-made shoe, which wraps your foot securely and comfortably.
The premium materials of the upper and insole and the design of the last maximize comfort but the soul of the boot is a dynamic soul oriented towards action and it is immediately clear that Striker pushes for speed and dynamism.

The design is snug, fast, and precise, with reinforcements positioned to strengthen the foot where needed and where they don’t restrict the foot’s movement. The sole, however, houses the most advanced technology. A Carbitex plate is positioned within the midsole compound, capable of modulating thrust, support, and flexibility. Similar to certain running shoes, but with much more stability.
The sole also features one of the most innovative treads on the market: NexX4™, a lightweight, abrasion-resistant tread with great grip and flexibility regardless of temperatures.
Ultimately, once you’ve put it on, the Prabos encourages you to seek out medium-length routes, on mixed terrain with technical sections, at a brisk pace. This is where it will prove to be a reliable partner and showcase all its innovative features, the result of meticulous research and development.
