Boxer, the intuitive kite

If there’s one kite in the Naish lineup designed to make light wind kitesurfing and kite-foiling feel intuitive, forgiving, and genuinely fun: it’s the Boxer. With the 2025 edition, Naish has taken a deep dive into what sets this single-strut icon apart, and pushed its performance even further.

We sat down with head kite designer Ewan Jaspan to unpack the technical changes behind the latest Boxer and how they translate into real-world performance.

Sizes: 2,8 / 3,4 / 4,0 / 5,0 / 6,0 / 7,0 / 8,0 / 9,0 / 10,0 / 11,0 / 12,0 / 14,0 / 16,0

Range: +30 / +30 / 20+ / 25+ / 21+ / 18-30 / 15-26 / 14-24 / 11-32 / 9-19 / 8-18

As our dedicated one-strut kite, the Boxer maximizes light wind possibilities. With optimized aspect ratios and perfected arc profiles, the canopy is tighter than ever and the balance between power and turning ability is next level. Sheet in and go, the Boxer is your best friend in kite foiling, lightwind wave or freeride conditions thanks to precise bridling and great bar feel.

The size range is also finely tuned to each discipline, with smaller sizes specially refined for kite foiling. With the refined Luff Strut, the Boxer provides more stability and power, promoting easier relaunch and offers great drifting ability.

Details

Profile Lock Seam
Located along the high point of the kite, the Profile Lock Seam ensures that the kite maintains its shape even after countless sessions.

Swift Tips
30% stronger and yet lighter than previous wingtip constructions, providing a streamlined look and faster turning performance.

Bladder Cap Construction
Rounded aramid wingtip and strut closure eliminates any chance of bladder explosions. Designed to withstand higher leading-edge input pressure.

Optimized Aspect Ratios
Individualized by kite size to increase turning speed and power delivery.

Quad-Tex Ripstop
The strongest and stiffest canopy material on the market, QuadTex withstands intense conditions while maintaining long term high performance.

Radial Segmented Arc
Short linear segments form the kite’s arch accurately and smoothly.

HT Plus Seam
High-tenacity thread that reinforces the seam on the leading edge, ensuring confidence in a high-pressure inflation for improved performance.

Aerodynamic Flying Bridles
Extremely lightweight and aerodynamic, decreasing air and water drag and enabling easier relaunch.

Bridle Point Construction
Adjustable, intuitive, stronger and cleaner than ever before: increase the wind range of the kite, maximize depower in the bar throw.

Luff Strut
Providing an adaptable framework for better low-end power.

SureLock Valve
Flushed inflation valve with secure twist lock mechanism for pump-hose, for easy and fast inflation.

Single Diagonal Load Seam
Improves direct steering for a responsive and well-balanced kite.

New Bridle
Gives better steering direction with the bar at any distance on the throw, meaning even at full depower you have total control of your kite.
