ULTRASHELL®: PROTECTION AND RELIABILITY
Ultrashell® is Cimalp‘s benchmark membrane, designed to ensure constant protection in changing weather. With 20,000 mm of waterproofness and 80,000 MVP of breathability, it effectively blocks rain and promotes the evacuation of body moisture. The result is a technology with an excellent balance of lightness, protection, and compressibility.
The Ultrashell® membrane’s excellent properties stem from its microporous structure: the pores are approximately 20,000 times smaller than a drop of water, but 700 times larger than a vapor molecule. This effectively traps external water, while allowing sweat vapor to escape, keeping the body dry and protected for longer.
Advenced LIne
Designed for high mountains and mountaineering, the ADVANCED line combines a shell and bib in a complete and functional system. Both made with the Ultrashell® membrane, they feature essential technical details such as heat-sealed ventilation zips and an integrated RECCO® system.
