With this new generation, the brand also introduces a significant change: the entire touring line becomes unisex. The sizes are designed to adapt to the needs of both male and female skiers seeking lightness, control, and performance, regardless of gender. This choice reflects the real needs of mountain guides, rescuers, and expert riders, for whom efficiency on the terrain is paramount.
SUPERPATROL CARBON, how it’s made
The SUPERPATROL CARBON was created to combine responsiveness and lightweight performance. The heart of the ski is a paulownia core reinforced with poplar stringers, encased in a full carbon layup with biaxial fibers oriented at 0°, 30°, and 45°, integrated with aramid fibers. The result is a structure capable of offering high torsional rigidity, great underfoot sensitivity, and immediate response, maintaining stability and precision even on uneven terrain and complex snow.
With around 95 mm in the waist (in size 177 cm) and a freeride rocker profile – rockered tip and flat tail – the SUPERPATROL CARBON guarantees float in soft snow, safety on steep slopes and intuitive behavior in changeable conditions.
Among the distinctive features is the COT (Cut Off Tail) technology: a shortened tail that slightly sets the stance back and makes the ski more agile in inversions, as well as improving progression on climbs. Despite this intervention, the effective edge remains almost complete, ensuring stability and precision during the descent.
The turning radius varies depending on the size – approximately 17.5 metres for the 169 cm length – while the weight remains between 1,350 and 1,450 g, an ideal balance for those who tackle significant differences in altitude without sacrificing skiing quality.
Derived from Majesty’s experience with the Supernova line, the Superpatrol Carbon brings the “Flex. Spring. Response.” philosophy to the world of touring, a design approach that prioritizes responsiveness, control and direct transmission of sensations.
