A spectacular ceremony on the summit of Blesaccia
The guests reached the opening location in a suggestive way: the skiers took a guided tour with ski instructors of the area’s new features, while the group on foot was transported by snowcats to the top of the lift.

Altavista: the chairlift that reaches the highest point of the Livigno ski area
The name Altavista already captures the essence of the project: the new chairlift leads to the highest point of the Livigno ski area, offering a 360° panoramic view of the Livigno Valley and the Federia Valley. An iconic location that becomes a symbol of innovation and tourist appeal.

Technical characteristics and performance of the system
The new Altavista chairlift replaces the historic Blesaccia II with a modern six-seater, automatic-detachable system, designed to redefine the resort’s comfort and safety standards.
Equipped with protective domes, heated seats, and a self-closing safety bar, it guarantees an optimal experience even in the harshest weather conditions.
From a technical standpoint, the lift starts at an altitude of 2,322 meters and reaches 2,794 meters, with a maximum capacity of 2,800 people per hour and a speed of 5 m/s, allowing you to reach the summit in just 5 minutes. From here, the Blesaccia, Femminile, and Zuelli slopes begin, offering a continuous 1,000-meter descent to the valley.
A strategic investment ahead of the 2026 Milan-Cortina Olympics
During the inauguration, Carosello 3000 General Manager Stefano Cusini emphasized how Altavista represents a strategic investment in technology and quality of experience, part of the resort’s growth path ahead of the 2026 Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics.
These words were also echoed by Livigno‘s Mayor, Remo Galli, who highlighted the key role of private investment in the region’s development and Livigno’s centrality in the future Olympic landscape. Representatives of the Fondazione Milano Cortina, APT Livigno, and Skipass Livigno also spoke, reiterating the project’s tourist and landscape value.

A panoramic experience between sport, innovation and hospitality
The exceptional Alpine setting made the inauguration even more evocative, with music, welcome drinks, and a spectacular choreography of lights, smoke bombs, and flames during the ribbon-cutting ceremony, preceded by the blessing of the facility.
The day concluded in the new panoramic dining room of the Ristoro Carosello 3000 with a convivial, high-quality brunch and a tasting of Sforzato Carlo Negri 3000, aged at altitude for the Olympic year.
A symbolic moment that confirms Livigno’s commitment to excellence, ready to welcome athletes and enthusiasts from around the world.
