Hi Rick, here in Italy the days are getting longer and beach and water sports lovers are starting to look for a destination for their summer holidays. When will Keros Surf Club open in 2026?
Our 2026 season is starting in style on May 29, 2026, and we can’t wait!
We’ll kick off with some highly successful events:
The highly successful Bikini Tribe Girls Camp kicks off May 29th with a super-discounted first week package of € 420.00, which includes sports, events, accommodations, and breakfast for one week! Now, participants can participate in the largest watersports event for girls at an even more discounted price! For some, traveling from Athens to a Greek island seems complicated. How do you get to the island of Limnos, where the club is located?
The best way to visit the island of Limnos is by plane. Whether you fly from Athens (ATH) or Thessaloniki (SKG), it’s just a 45-minute domestic flight. Now, Ryanair has announced several direct flights weekly from Milan Bergamo (BGY) to the island of Limnos (LXS)! This will make traveling from Italy a breeze, with no stops or transfer hassles, and at a reasonable cost!
This is great news, as we have many Italians visiting, and this flight makes it super easy to reach us, at an affordable price, especially in the low season! You can even consider visiting Limnos for a long weekend!
How do you choose the best time to visit the island if you’re a windsurfer, kitesurfer, or wingfoiler? Is there always wind all summer?
From June to September, Limnos offers typical Greek summer weather, meaning blue skies and mild temperatures. July and August are traditionally the windiest months, but they also represent the high season. June can be fantastic, with good winds, and September can offer even better wind and waves in some years, with a more relaxed atmosphere and more space and time to enjoy the island and its conditions.
If you want to travel comfortably without bringing your own equipment, is there equipment available for rental at Surf Club Keros?
Here at Surf Club Keros, you can always find brand new equipment for the sport you love: windsurfing, wing foiling, kitesurfing, and much more. You can rent by the hour, day, or week. At our center, you can find more than:
- 60 kite / 35 kiteboard
- 35 intermediate/advanced windsurfing boards / 55 windsurfing sails
- 40 windsurfing sets for beginners
- 45 wings, 30 hydrofoil sets, 35 wingfoil boards
What equipment does the club have?
We collaborate with RRD, the well-known Italian brand.
Wingfoiling is a relatively new sport. Is it possible to rent boards and kites for all levels and even take lessons?
Wingfoiling is growing rapidly, and for good reason! We’ve been involved in this amazing sport since the beginning, only to discover that Keros is one of the best places in the world to practice it!
Our school is an IWO affiliated center, and the terrain is perfect for lessons and advanced levels!
If your girlfriend or boyfriend doesn’t do water sports, how can they spend their time at Surf Club Keros?
First and foremost, everyone who visits us ends up trying one of our amazing water sports, because here it’s all about the beach, the sea, and the wind! The conditions are so favorable, and the equipment even more so, so everyone should give it a try, even if they’ve had a bad experience elsewhere.
We also offer surfing lessons (waves – Hawaiian surfing) on another beach, which is super fun and doesn’t require much effort. Kids and families love it!
If your plan is “not too active,” Surf Club Keros offers daily yoga and SUP yoga classes, spa services and massages, excursions to the sand dunes for sandboarding, wine tastings, etc.
What accommodations does the Club offer tourists? Rooms, tents, restaurant…
Keros Surf Club offers accommodations on the hill near the surf center (a 10-minute walk or a 2-minute free shuttle ride) in luxury safari tents. We have three tent types: XL tents, suitable for couples or families, and Medium tents (triple or quadruple), a more affordable option also suitable for events and shared camping.
We offer a restaurant where you can enjoy meals with a stunning view of Keros Bay throughout the day, or sip a cocktail at our bar until late at night.
