OUTDRY™ EXTREME — ZERO WET-OUT
At Columbia’s top of the line, OutDry™ Extreme features a membrane positioned on the outside of the garment, preventing water absorption into the outer layer. The lack of a DWR surface treatment allows for consistent performance over time, pairing the outer layer with a soft interior for next-to-skin comfort. The result is a PFC-free system that combines a high water barrier with breathability, ideal for extended use in rain and snow.
WHISTLER PEAK™ SHELL
Whistler Peak™ is a hiking shell designed to withstand storms and challenging conditions. OutDry™ Extreme technology uses a fully seam-sealed, impenetrable outer membrane, eliminating the need for a surface fabric and ensuring consistent protection even in pouring rain. Inside, a soft, breathable material ensures next-to-skin comfort. The fully seam-sealed construction with external seals is combined with two-way underarm ventilation to promote airflow. A fixed, peripherally adjustable hood with a bonded visor enhances protection without restricting vision, while adjustable cuffs, a drawcord hem, and an extended tail provide additional coverage on the trail. PU-coated zippers—on the front and on the handwarmer pockets—help keep essentials dry. Abrasion-resistant overlays, reflective details, and a contoured fit designed for movement complete the design.

The Whistler Peak™ Hiking Pant offers reliable protection while hiking thanks to waterproof and breathable OutDry™ Extreme technology with fully seam-sealed seams. The impenetrable outer membrane keeps you dry inside and out, even in a downpour, while the soft inner fabric promotes comfort during activity. Full-length two-way side zips make it easy to put on without removing shoes and are PU-coated to keep out moisture. Abrasion-resistant hem panels and reinforced knee guards ensure durability on wet, technical terrain, while articulated knees support freedom of movement. The fit is adjustable thanks to the elastic waistband with a drawcord, complete with a zippered thigh pocket for storing essentials.
CASSIAR PRO™ ODX SHELL
Lightweight and dynamic, the Cassiar Pro™ ODX is a hiking shell designed to handle heavy rain and challenging conditions while maintaining freedom of movement. OutDry™ Extreme technology uses a fully seam-sealed, impenetrable outer membrane to block water at the source, while the soft, breathable interior promotes comfort during activity. The design incorporates functional solutions designed for use on the trail: a hood with bonded visor and rear adjustment for optimal peripheral vision, a drawcord hem and elastic inserts at the cuffs for a customizable fit. A two-way front zip and handwarmer pockets with PU-coated zippers help keep moisture out, while an internal security pocket stores small items. Taped external seams and reflective details complete a construction geared for performance in adverse conditions.

OmniTech™ Pro, Columbia’s highest-performing waterproof and breathable technology, debuts in the Spring/Summer 2026 season. The three-layer construction is designed for professional-level use, with a 30,000 mm water column and 30,000 g/m²/24h breathability, while maintaining compactness, durability, and PFC-free performance.
In practical terms, the 30,000 / 30,000 classification indicates a fabric capable of resisting very intense downpours for long periods, while at the same time promoting the evacuation of body vapor to regulate the internal microclimate during prolonged exertion.
SAUDAN PRO™ 3L SHELL
The Saudan Pro™ 3L Waterproof Shell is a technical mountain shell designed for demanding hikes and extended stays in wet conditions. Designed for variable alpine environments, it offers maximum water resistance and moisture management in a streamlined technical design. Key features include a hood with a reinforced visor and integrated drawcord for protection without restricting visibility, underarm vents and a two-way front zip for optimized airflow, as well as adjustable cuffs and hem to seal out the elements during long days on the move. TRAILBORNE™ 2.5L SHELL
Built with fully seam-sealed OmniTech™ construction, the Trailborne™ 2.5L offers waterproof, breathable protection during storms and variable conditions, while maintaining comfort and freedom of movement when hiking and walking. Fully sealed seams create an effective barrier against moisture, while underarm ventilation and a two-way front zip help regulate temperature during activity.
The adjustable hood with peripheral vision, along with adjustable cuffs and hem, allows you to customize the fit to suit the conditions. Zippered pockets—both chest and handwarmer—provide secure storage for essentials. When the weather improves, the jacket can be stowed away in its own handwarmer pocket, becoming a compact and easy-to-carry layer. Reflective details increase visibility in low-light conditions, completing a versatile solution for everyday outdoor wear.
