Join us for an unforgettable experience for riders who want to learn and perform the most captivating and unique windsurfing maneuver.
This clinic is dedicated to teaching how to perform the forward loop, one of the most advanced aerial tricks in windsurfing.
What you will learn at the Clinic:
-Safety precautions: Understand the risks and make sure you use appropriate equipment.
-Preparation: jumping technique, required speed, direction of the jump, correct body positioning.
-Takeoff: How to get out of the water effectively.
-Rotation: mechanics of rotation and attention to head and body movements.
-Landing: Tips for a safe and controlled landing.
-Practice: Participants will practice under the supervision of the coach and receive feedback and advice to quickly improve.
This course is designed for intermediate to advanced windsurfers who want to improve their skills.
How will the Forward Loop be taught?
We’ll teach you the Forward Loop through theory lessons on land and using a simulator. Our approach is to guide you step by step on land and in the water. We’ll analyze your mistakes using video analysis to show you how to improve.
Furthermore, you will experience a real simulation of the rotation in complete safety, where you will have the sensation of having actually performed the maneuver.
Daily schedule (on a typical south windy day):
9:30am meet at Pier Watersports Center
10:00 theoretical session and simulator
11:30 – 12:30 lunch break
1:00 pm water session
2.30pm short break
3:00 pm water session
4:00 PM video analysis
5:00 pm end of the day
Meeting with the coach:
The Clinic will be led by Fabio Calò, co-owner of Pier Watersports Center and professional windsurfer, two-time Italian Wave champion. He is editor-in-chief of 4Windsurf and 4Wing magazines and organizer of various windsurfing clinics around the world.

Included in the Clinic experience:
2 days of coaching (Saturday-Sunday)
Video analysis to improve skills
All lessons are supported by powerboat assistance
Use of the deck for the most realistic Forward Loop simulator you’ve ever seen.
NOT included in the Clinic experience:
Group lunch at Ribero restaurant (highly recommended).
Equipment rental for personal use during the clinic. Advance reservations are required to reserve equipment.
Number of participants: Limited to 4-8 participants to ensure personalized attention.
Please note that a minimum intermediate level of windsurfing is required to participate.
