Created in collaboration with athlete and artist Chris Benchetler, the new Bent 110 GFD brings the psychedelic imagery of the Grateful Dead, the historic American band celebrating its 60th anniversary in 2025, to the edges. The design features original graphics and the GD60 logo, with direct references to the album covers that made the band’s aesthetic iconic. A visual and cultural tribute that expresses the free spirit of freeskiing.
The launch coincides with the world premiere of Mountains of the Moon, Benchetler’s new film, scheduled for October 18, 2025, featuring a special appearance by Mickey Hart, the Dead’s original drummer.

A collaboration that continues to make history
The partnership between Atomic and the Grateful Dead is now well-established: it began in 2019 with the Bent 120 GFD and continued with the Bent 100 GFD, and today finds new expression in this Bent 110 GFD, a symbol of a bond between freeride, improvisation and creativity that has always united music and the mountains.
Technology and freedom on the slopes
The Bent 110 GFD shares materials and technologies with the traditional Bent 110:
- all-mountain versatility,
- surf-style playfulness,
- intuitive flexibility.
From fresh powder to variable conditions on the slopes, it’s a ski designed for those looking for fluidity and spontaneity on every line, with the same freedom you feel in a jam session.
