Fitting
Very wrap-around closure especially on the instep and a very thin, breathable stretch tonguethat does not bother at all, properly insulating the foot from the tightening of the flat, slightly elasticized laces. Very solid heel counter, with excellent internal padding that perfectly encloses the heel, giving the feeling of great stability and minimizes rubbing of the Achilles tendon. The lace adjustment, thanks to a mixed system of eyelets and webbing, is carefully designed, while still leaving the forefoot with excellent adjustability and ample room for the toes.
Comfort
Comfort is one of the strengths of this model. Lots of rubber under the foot, over 40 millimeters at the heel, is a lot, but not necessarily to everyone’s liking. Personally, I found the comfort truly remarkable even though I would have settled for a less oversized midsole. In fact, the new FF Blast Plus Eco technology , in addition to being environmentally friendly and highly sustainable, performs its function admirably, absorbing shock but still giving good overall rebound. I have also used the Nimbus as an all-day sneaker, and I am very satisfied with the foot and comfort feel reposed even after several hours of use.
Rolling
The roll is very natural, the transition from meso forefoot always smooth and the foam of the midsole allows even the most hardened “heelers” to appreciate its qualities. Tried on different paces, it proves perfect coime shoe for long runs with paces around 5:30, A little less prestative if you try to stay under 5 minutes per kilometer. Of the roll I really appreciated the great softness on entry with excellent foot support that makes it preferable to other competing models with softer foams if you have problems with slight pronation.
Breathability
