When temperatures drop, the choice of base layer becomes crucial. For the FW26 season, Mons Royale presents the Cascade Merino Base Layer Long Sleeve—a merino wool base layer designed to provide warmth, freedom of movement, and comfort during the most intense days on the snow and in the mountains.

The merino wool base layer that combines performance, comfort, and style.

At the heart of the garment is Merino Flex fabric, composed of 81% merino wool, 12% nylon, and 7% elastane. This combination blends the natural properties of merino fiber with the stretch and durability of technical materials. Thermoregulating, breathable, and naturally odor-resistant, the fabric helps maintain a balanced body temperature—even as activity intensity and external conditions change—while offering a soft feel against the skin.

The four-way stretch construction and slim fit allow the base layer to move freely without restriction and retain its shape over time. Flatlock seams help reduce chafing during activity, while thumb loops keep the sleeves in place even when worn under a mid-layer or jacket.

Mons Royale’s unmistakable identity complements the technical features. Its colorful, contemporary graphics make the Cascade Merino Long-Sleeve Base Layer instantly recognizable, extending its use well beyond sports activities. It is a performance-oriented base layer that doesn’t need to stay hidden—ideal for the snow, yet equally at home during the downtime following a day in the mountains.

Rounding off the garment is the choice of ZQ-certified Merino wool—a standard that places particular emphasis on animal welfare, responsible land management, and fiber traceability throughout the entire supply chain.

The Cascade Merino Long-Sleeve Base Layer is available in the women’s version in Paintbrush Pink and the men’s version in Airbrush.
