Three international athletes will compete in the E-XCO and E-Enduro competitions with the Thok Gram dk frame kit, powered by a Shimano EP801 or Askoll Ultra C90A motor, and with tailor-made setups
Thok E-Bikes officially enters the world of electric racing with the Gram dk frame kit. The kit will be a key player in the E-XCO and E-Enduro disciplines, two of the most challenging categories in the industry, where it will be put to the test by three top-level international athletes: Mirko Tabacchi, Eric Anselmo, and Wilfred Van De Haterd.
Each rider will have a Thok bike, with a personalized Gram dk configuration, adapted to their riding style and the needs of the discipline.
Thok Gram dk: premium frame kit for every biker
The Gram dk is Thok’s frame kit, designed to offer an uncompromising riding experience. This elite project is designed for those seeking a super-exclusive eMTB that can be customized with the components of their choice. It’s built entirely of carbon fiber with a mullet wheel configuration and includes Fox Factory Kashima suspension, an integrated 820 Wh battery, and a choice of two different motors.
In addition to the already renowned Shimano EP801 updated with the latest firmware, the Gram dk can be equipped with the high-performance Italian motor Askoll Ultra C90A, one of the most powerful on the market. The weight-to-power ratio is first-rate: only 2.9 kg, for a power output of 250 W, with a peak of 1,200 watts. The 90 Nm torque is optimized for a range of 60-80 rpm with maximum support up to 138 rpm. In Boost mode, torque reaches 110 Nm. Assistance is adjustable across five levels, offering support ranging from 80% to 400% of the rider’s power.
The Askoll Ultra management system, equipped with the Sigma EOX controller, allows precise control of performance directly from the handlebars.

The athletes: talent and performance at the highest levels
Athletes Mirko Tabacchi, Eric Anselmo and Wilfred Van De Haterd will take the Thok Gram dk to the most important national and international circuits in the 2025 season.
Each of them will have a tailor-made setup, but with some common features that guarantee reliability and high performance during the challenges they will face, such as the Fox 38 Factory Kashima suspension with 180 mm travel, Raicam brakes, Shimano XT gearing and the 820 Wh battery.
In 2024, Mirko Tabacchi won the Italian E-XCO champion title and achieved a prestigious third-place finish in the UCI World Cup. In addition to the characteristics shared with the other athletes, he chose to equip his Thok Gram dk with an Askoll ULTRA C90A motor for the optimal combination of power and responsiveness.
Its frame kit also includes Damil wheels, a Fox X2 air shock and a Fox dropper post with 170mm travel.
Eric Anselmo, former Italian DH champion and now a protagonist in E-Enduro, also opted for a Gram dk with an Askoll ULTRA C90A engine with 110 Nm of torque, combined with a Fox DHX2 coil shock absorber, a choice that ensures greater stability and control on the rough terrain typical of Enduro tests.
He also selected CrankBrothers wheels and pedals and Michelin tires to maximize grip and stability on the most technical tracks.
Wilfred Van De Haterd, an athlete with experience in BMX, XC, DH and Enduro, is one of the leading riders in E-Enduro competitions in Germany and Europe.
Unlike his teammates, he has chosen to use the Shimano EP801 motor with 85 Nm of torque, focusing on a calibrated power delivery to ensure control and adaptability to different race terrains. His Thok will also be equipped with Nobl wheels and Maxxis tires.
