The 2026 European SUP League defines the path to the final overall ranking in its three disciplines.

The 2026 European SUP League has now confirmed its official calendar and the qualification system for the final overall ranking in its three scoring disciplines: Long Distance, Sprint and Technical Race.

This season, the tour will visit six European venues: Santa Pola (Spain), Taranto (Italy), Zurich (Switzerland), Rybnik (Poland), Huelva (Spain) and Sesimbra (Portugal), strengthening its international profile with a high-level competitive structure and a total prize pool of €72,000.

The season will open in Santa Pola from April 24th to 26th, with an event that will include the Sprint, Long Distance, and Technical Races, as well as unofficial events such as the Inflatable Long Distance, Popular Race, and branded relays. This inaugural event will award a prize pool of €15,000, with €5,000 for each scoring discipline.

The tour will then move to Taranto on May 1st and 2nd, hosting the technical race and the long distance, with a prize pool of €6,000. Zurich will follow on June 20th and 21st, with all three official disciplines and €9,000 in prizes. A week later, Rybnik will host the sprint race and the technical race on June 27th and 28th, with €6,000 up for grabs. In September, Huelva will once again host the sprint and technical race on September 5th and 6th, offering another €6,000 in prizes, before the season concludes in Sesimbra from September 11th to 13th, where the sprint, technical race, and long distance will be held, with €30,000 awarded for the final general classification.

For the final overall ranking, ESL has established a clear rule for each discipline. In the technical race, there are six events, and the four best results will count. In the long distance race, there are four events, and the three best results will count. In the Sprint category, there will be five events, and the three best results will count.

This means that athletes aiming for the final general classification must participate in at least the following number of events, depending on the discipline chosen:

  • Technical Competition: at least 4 events
  • Long Distance: at least 3 events
  • Sprint: at least 3 events

Accordingly, the discipline calendar is structured as follows:

Technical Race
Santa Pola, Taranto, Zurich, Rybnik, Huelva and Sesimbra.

Long Distance
Santa Pola, Taranto, Zurich and Sesimbra.

Sprint
Santa Pola, Zurich, Rybnik, Huelva and Sesimbra.

With this structure, the European SUP League strengthens the competitiveness of the tour and offers riders a clear roadmap to plan their season, secure the necessary attendance, and fight for the final overall title in 2026.
