Product development will be a cornerstone of the partnership. The Pou brothers’ experience—over 3 million meters of accumulated vertical gain and nearly 80,000 climbing routes worldwide, from the Himalayas to the Andes to Antarctica—will contribute to the design of equipment designed for extreme conditions and true alpine style.

“They bring with them a unique wealth of experience on big walls and at high altitude,” adds Anna Ferrino. “Their contribution will be crucial to developing increasingly high-performance products.”

A two-year horizon

The two-year agreement will see Ferrino alongside the Pou on their most ambitious expeditions, providing technical equipment—from tents to sleeping bags, to mats and accessories.

“It’s the meeting of two paths that deeply respect each other,” the mountaineers comment. “We’ve spent our lives in the mountains, and Ferrino has been a key player in major expeditions for 150 years.”

A collaboration that also embraces the outdoor community, aiming to inspire a more authentic and mindful approach to the mountains. “We want to tell true stories from remote places, inviting people to rediscover exploration beyond the beaten path,” concludes the CEO.

Meanwhile, Iker Pou is in Taghia, one of the most iconic destinations for big-wall climbing, while Eneko Pou is busy wrapping up his ski mountaineering season. The two are preparing to reunite soon for a new expedition to the Andes, scheduled for June and July, where Ferrino will be at their side.
