From January 11 to 13, 2026, Fiera Bolzano will host the 25th edition of Prowinter, the B2B event dedicated to the world of outdoor and winter sports. Over the years, Prowinter has evolved from a rental-focused event to a true European hub for the entire winter mountain industry.
This steady growth, the result of strategic choices and a clear vision, will translate into a trade fair with expanded space, international scope, and content in 2026.

Scandinavian Village: A New Bridge Between Northern and Southern Europe
Following the success of 2025, Prowinter is responding to growing exhibition demand by opening an entire additional pavilion dedicated to the Scandinavian Village, which will complement the Italian Outdoor Village.
This area is designed to enhance the encounter between European industry leaders and foster a transnational dialogue that is currently one of the main drivers of the outdoor and winter sports market.
Confirming the fair’s growing international appeal, several global brands will participate in 2026 with their own headquarters, no longer just through distributors. Brands such as Stöckli, Kästle, Ziener, Reusch, Hestra, and Montura will showcase their European collections and teams at expanded stands, making Prowinter a hub for professionals from Germany, Austria, Scandinavia, Benelux, and Eastern Europe.

An increasingly sustainable event
The 25th edition will have a strong green focus: Fiera Bolzano, already EarthCheck Silver certified, continues its ESG journey aimed at becoming the most sustainable exhibition center in Italy.
During the event, two key events will be held dedicated to sustainability in the winter sports industry:
- Winter Sports Sustainability Network Meeting
- Ski Industry Climate Summit, promoted by Atomic in collaboration with Protect Our Winters Europe (POW) and Wintersports Sustainability Network (WSN)
Two opportunities for companies, experts, and institutions to discuss the strategies needed to build a more responsible future for winter mountain tourism.

Prowinter Award 2026: Innovation and Sustainability at the Center
The Prowinter Award, one of the fair’s most anticipated events and a privileged observatory for product trends, is also returning. The 2026 edition introduces a major innovation: an external jury member will be dedicated exclusively to evaluating the sustainability of materials and processes, a sign of the award’s evolution toward a more transparent and forward-looking approach.
The judging system is based on six criteria—innovation, marketability, technology, design, storytelling, and environmental responsibility—and includes ten categories, divided between Skiing and Outdoor, enhanced by a Special Prize dedicated to cross-country skis.
The winners will be announced on January 11th during the opening ceremony, while all nominated products will remain on display in the Award Area for the entire duration of the event.

Field trials and networking: the community meets
Alongside the exhibition area, there will also be the highly popular Prowinter Test Days in Carezza (12–13 January), organised by Pool Sci Italia and ITASnow, which will allow over 250 professionals to preview the new products for the 2026/2027 season.
Completing the program, the first evening will feature the traditional Prowinter Party, dedicated to exhibitors, retailers, technicians, and the media, designed as an opportunity for informal networking and inspiration.
A clear vision: “Small but High Quality” “With Prowinter 2026, we want to strengthen Bolzano’s role as a European meeting point for the winter sports industry,” says Geraldine Coccagna, Brand Manager of Prowinter.
“Our ‘Small but High Quality’ philosophy remains our guiding principle: an authentic event, built on people and real dialogue, capable of keeping the spirit of the mountains alive and offering an efficient and valuable experience for all industry professionals.”
